2021年上半年我因為工作原因，我和我的小狗Pepper（佩柏）短暫搬到了洛杉磯Pasadena一個只有16戶的美麗社區樓。雖然時間只有7個月，但因為Pepper的原因結識了社區裡其他三位養狗的可愛鄰居。搬走後時常想起我們一起帶狗狗散步或相約寵物公園的時光，今年上半年收到Good Art邀請創作這一組寵物主題作品，發現我可以馬上想起另外三隻狗狗的名字，甚至有信心可以畫出我們常去的公園的路線圖。但唯獨想不起來三位鄰居的名字了。



In the first half of 2021, work took me—and my dog Pepper (佩柏)—to a lovely 16-unit building in Pasadena, Los Angeles. We were there only seven months, but thanks to Pepper I got to know three sweet neighbors who also had dogs. After we moved, I often thought about our walks together and our meetups at the dog park. Earlier this year, when Good Art invited me to create a pet-themed series, I realized I could instantly recall the names of the other three dogs—and I’m pretty sure I could even draw a map of our usual park route. The only thing I can’t remember are the neighbors’ names.
